RECTORY RESTORATION: The rectory is a turn of the century Victorian-style house for use by the resident priest and his family. Original detail is still visible on the front gable, shingles and rake boards. This portion of the house has now been restored and painted in a three-color pattern to match the rest of the church buildings. The same design and paint scheme will be carried through on a new front porch. All windows were replaced with vinyl-framed double glazed units with detailing in the upper sash to complement the overall design. The entire exterior was covered with foam insulation and stuccoed to match the cream color of the other church buildings. A stained glass window was moved from the main rectory to a more visible place. New phone and cable lines have been installed in every room except the kitchen. New concrete front porch and steps will be poured, and the front door will also be accessible from an ADA compliant handicap ramp. The second floor bathroom will have extensive remodeling and carpet will be replaced in both upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen will be partially remodeled with new linoleum, stove and microwave. New lighting will be installed throughout the house where necessary.
PARISH HALL RESTORATION: The entryway will have new carpet and paint. The exterior has been given a new finished coat of stucco in the same cream color as the other church buildings. The downstairs is being remodeled into modern offices for the rector and supporting staff. All new energy efficient windows will be installed in the office spaces. The hallway and offices will have new carpet. Upgrades are planned for the electrical, phone and cable services. New hanging indirect lighting will be installed in both offices.
