Who We Are

The Episcopal Church of the Ascension is a small, friendly, welcoming and inclusive church family. We are part of The Episcopal Church that draws from both the Protestant and Catholic traditions. Our diocese is the Episcopal Church in Colorado. The Episcopal Church is part of the Anglican Communion, churches around the world in communion with the Church of England. Member churches share a common heritage and commitment to the authority of scripture, tradition, and reason. We are local and global; small enough to care, yet big enough to serve.

A Word and Worship Church

Our Sunday service is contemporary and traditional. The Scriptures and the Sacraments ground us in wisdom and balance. In this ever-changing, fast-paced world, our church gives us a sense of meaning, belonging, and purpose.

An Outreach Church

We are engaged in our local community as well as across the world! You may know of us through our Meals On Wheels, or through our Community Dinners, or through other local organizations that we support. We believe it is our privilege to serve others as Christians.
